Liwa Hats was founded in 2022 in Orlando, Florida, by Diana Martínez. "Liwa" means "Spring" in the Wayuu Guajira dialect of Colombia.

As a family business, we wanted to share the love we have for our homeland, Colombia, by introducing the United States and the world to the beautiful hats and products crafted by Colombian artisans.

Our passion for these endeavors and our love for what we do have driven Liwa Hats to create unique, hand-decorated and painted hats. We carefully select the materials for our products, addressing the diverse needs of our clients.

Our product range includes items made from straw, natural fibers, polyester, cotton, wool, and more. Liwa Hats serves as a platform for artisans’ products to gain recognition in the United States and worldwide.
